I'm sure the title will upset a few women; but if you're not a mother, you probably won't see my point today. Then again, some of these so called mothers are the problem. My daughter LOVES to dance. She does the "Whip & Nae Nae" dance all day everyday. I know the song very well because of her playing it all the time. She loves watching the "Dancing Dolls" show that comes on Lifetime. There is a difference between the Janet Jackson generation and the Beyonce generation. I loved dancing and performing because of Janet Jackson. She was sexy, yet classy. She never had to do stripper like dances to get a man's attention. You either have sex appeal or you don't. Beyonce, God bless her soul is entirely too wild. She gets all the kudos in the world from me because she can perform in heels like she's wearing sneakers. Yet, if I had to choose who I wanted my daughter to emulate. I would choose Janet Jackson with no hesitation. I have a couple of Beyonce CD's. I bought "Dangerously In Love" and "B'Day", so I'm not a hata. I just wish she'd calm it down sometimes.
I've been proposed to 7 times and I didn't have to pop, drop, lock, or twerk nothing. Go figure. I've been married 5 years as of now and he still like coming home to me lol. Go figure. I didn't have to do gay things, or get caught up in trisexual activity (people experimenting) to get a man's attention. Men that want two women at the same time are just selfish and women are helping them stay that way. Sex is spiritual. You're mending your soul with another soul and now they want to put another soul on top of that? God isn't with that. There's nothing blessed about the situation. You're bringing strife to your own life. Just cause it can be done, doesn't mean it need to be done. My daughter and I can't listen to Dej Loaf together or Trey Songz and Chris Brown. Their lyrics are too graphic. I could watch "Soul Train" with my mom. What happened? Wreckx N Effect came out with the song "Rumpshaker" in '91 or '92. I remember trying to shake it at 14 years old and my mom walked in and busted me. Thank God she cared to reprimand me. She has raised me to be a lady not a bitch. How does your mom see you? Then by all means, act accordingly, starting today.
